The Files page provides powerful search and filtering capabilities to help you quickly find specific EDI files. Whether you're looking for files by status, business unit, date range, or transaction type, these tools make it easy to locate exactly what you need.
Using the Search Bar
The search bar at the top of the Files page lets you search across file names and other file details.
- Click in the search field (shows "Find files...")
- Enter your search term
- Press Enter or click the search icon
Your active search appears as a chip below the search bar. Click the X on the chip to clear the search.
Using Filters
Click the Filters button to open the filter panel. You can apply multiple filters at once to narrow your results.
Business Unit Filter
Select one or more business units to view only files associated with those business units. This includes both your organization's business units and partner business units from established relationships.
Date Range Filter
Filter files by when they were received. Select a start date and end date to view files within that time period.
Status Filter
Filter files by their current processing status:
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| Delivered | Successfully sent to destination |
| Processed | File has been parsed and validated |
| Mapped | Data transformed, ready for delivery |
| Closed | Processing complete and archived |
| Replaced | Superseded by a newer file |
| Processing Error | Failed during parsing or validation |
| Delivery Error | Failed to send to destination |
| General Error | Other processing error occurred |
Transaction Type Filter
Filter files by EDI transaction type:
| Code | Name |
|---|---|
| 204 | Carrier Load Tender |
| 210 | Freight Details & Invoice |
| 214 | Shipment Status |
| 810 | Invoice |
| 850 | Purchase Order |
| 855 | Purchase Order Acknowledgement |
| 940 | Warehouse Shipping Order |
Sorting Results
Click any column header to sort by that field. Click again to toggle between ascending and descending order. An arrow indicates the current sort direction.
You can sort by:
- File Name
- Received Date (default - newest first)
- Delivered Date
Clearing Filters
Applied filters appear as chips below the search bar. To remove filters:
- Click the X on any filter chip to remove that specific filter
- Click Clear all to reset all filters and search terms
Tip: If you're not finding expected files, check your date range filter. Many searches miss results because the date range is too narrow.
Page Size
Use the page size selector at the bottom of the file list to control how many files are shown per page. Options include 10, 25, 50, or 100 files per page.
